As was known in old Greece, and has been confirmed scientifically more recently, the mediterranean diet provides a long and healthy xxxxx health-promoting effect has especially been attributed to the abundantly consumed olive oil .In the eighties the Cretans were considered to be among the healthiest people in the world and at this time they had a record consumption of 31 litres of olive oil per person a year.Because of its nutritional value olive oil has amazing features, it protects blood vessels because it contains mono-unsaturated fatty acids and it is effective in preventing heart and circulation diseases.I have been working for 25 years in olive oil production and at the same time in the tourist trade on Crete. My great knowledge and my long experience in oil production motivated me to produce my own high quality olive oils and especially a unique controlled biological oil.I have created an oil factory, in conjunction with my colleagues, which has the highest production standards and we promote our products in the whole of Greece and also in the international market. Our fine olive oil comes from Southern Crete, from the fertile Messara plain, close to ancient Gortys, between the mountain chains of Idi and Asterousia.
