Glenella Quarry Pty Ltd (GeQ) is a dynamic, privately held company located in the Central West of New South Wales, Australia. The quarry / mine has a unique and vast geology with large reserves of basalt, clay, sand, quartz silica pebble, and to a lesser degree gold. GeQ recommenced operations in 2005.
The very high purity deposit of quartz silica pebble has sizes ranging from sand up to 120mm. The quartz pebble is round, to oval in shape, and bright white in appearance. The typical SiO2 percentage is in the 99.5-99.8% with low impurity counts of all other elements.
All approvals and tenement licenses are in place. The resource is JORC compliant and has 20+ years of testing data which confirms consistent quality of the resource.
The high purity silica quartz is suitable for feedstock for silicon metal production which can be exported or used in a domestic silicon metal project.
The owners are flexible and wish to see their product going to a world / top class project.
