Since the company was located in the Prato area, he was attracted to the textile sector, that has always been the predominating activity in the district, and he observed that most of the companies were using machinery with very low production rates, relying heavily on manpower.Taking advantage of his own experience in the field of mechanics and surrounding himself with a staff of qualified personnel with ample experience in the textile sector, he decided in 1973 to found a new company for the purpose of producing technologically innovative textile machinery. That same year a new machine for the production of chenille yarn was designed: the PRIMA.This new model once more revolutionized the chenille yarn manufacturing process by supplying a machine with one, centrally driven.In the late 1980's once again hearing and responding to the needs and demands of the industry GIESSE introduced a new machine to the market: the AC 450.This machine has one hydraulic headstock which controls the lift rail motion. The model AC 450 can be supplied initially with either 32 or 64 spindles.Accessories or other devices capable of improving the quality of the products and expanding the production range. Whit this spirit, the GIESSE technical staff developed the model AC 83.
