Gem Precision Tool (P) Ltd., was established in the year 1988 and we are manufacturing Collets, Chucks and Feed Fingers and Allied Products. We have developed Collets and Chucks of many types to different customers according to their requirements. We entered into Defence during 1992 with Ammunition Factory Kirkee supplying collets and tooling. We further expanded our infrastructure with CNC Lathe and CNC Vertical Machining Centre with 4th axis.
GEM collets are used not only in India but all over the world, especially in countries like USA, Mexico, Australia ,Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Iran, and Dubai

The Directors of the company Mr.S.Karuppusami and Mr.N.Krishnasamy, are graduates in Mechanical Engineering and they well experienced precision equipment manufacturing industries. Our Marketing, Production and Quality Control personnel are technically qualified engineers and they carry solid experience in the industry. Each and every operator in the company are well experienced and they are trained to develop their skills to manufacture best products.

GEM shop is equipped with a comprehensive array of accurate machineries from reputed machine tool builders: to carry out the complete operations of turning, drilling, boring, milling, slotting, hardening, tempering, grinding, spark erosion, wire cutting etc.
Quality Assured:
Staffed with qualified and experienced technical personnel, quality assurance is guaranteed At every stage of production process. Equipped with sophisticated instruments-Indigenous and imported QA inspectors are tough in their attitude and stringent in their work. Raw material is procured from carefully selected reputed suppliers. Apart from the manufacturers test certificate, batch samples of these materials are thoroughly tested for the requisite mechanical & metallurgical properties.
Hundred percent stage inspection of each stage ensures exact adherence to the specified standards. Sophisticated heat treatment is carried out. Final inspection is taken up independently by the inspectors, before the product gets the stamp of approval from the QA head .Tolerances are always maintained well within the specified limits. As needed special application jigs fixtures gauges are also used. The complete range of the QA instruments are subjected to periodical calibration recorded documents are carefully maintained.
Apart from these facilities, GEM regularly uses the sophisticated testing facilities of the locally available recognized and independent engineering College, Labs, Government test houses and Sitarc laboratories.
