The projected amount of limestone and marble available is in excess of 130,000,000 tonnes, according to former geological estimates.The main objective in obtaining this site is to develop the quarry to produce crushed limestone, followed by the introduction of equipment to produce hydrated lime, a value-added product for pulp mills, etc. A future objective is to bring the high-grade marble into production.The other site in operation has sold approximately 80,000 yards of marl during the summer of 2004.
