Forta Automobile Co., Ltd is the inheritted company of Fuzhou Automobile Factory with 50 years history, established on 1956. It is also brother company of Japan Mitsubishi joint venture comapny Southeast Motor, Xiamen United Automotive Industry Co., Ltd., Xiamen Golden Dragon Van Co., Ltd. ,as they are shared by Fujian Motor Industry Group. The company is Chinese government designated whole auto and auto chassis ,auto parts manufacturer ,registered capital amount 100 million RMB, with a yearly production capacity in excess of 6000 units pickup truck,10000 units light and medium duty truck,2000 units bus/coach chassis, owning one punching production line, one hull painting production line, one welding production line, one final assembling production line, and one inspecting line. Forta Automobile Co., Ltd was the first company who produce pickup truck in China. In 1990, Forta began to cooperate with Japan Mazda in technology and introduce Mazda-B series pickup truck production line into Chinese market, using excellent Mazda multi-point electric injection engine ,Forta-Mazda-B pickup truck passed Euro-II emission standard, as of same high quality, comfort, fuel saving, safe, easy driving as imported Mazda-B, Forta pickup won huge success at that time, Forta brand is equality to "Top Grade Pickup" in Chinese consumer. 10 years passed now, many Forta-Mazda-B series pickups are still running in Chinese highways in every states.
