Equilibrium Biofuel helps clients produce EN 14214 quality biodiesel from low value feedstocks. Equilibrium Biofuel designs and supplies the process equipment for biodiesel projects and is responsible for the engineering, construction and commissioning of new plants. The operation and maintenance of the new plants are also done by Equilibrium Biofuel. Each new plant is done using a special purpose vehicle (SPV) to own and operate the venture (see Figure 1 below). The project is financed by offering an equity stake in the SPV to an external equity investor.
