Enerwaste Limited was formed as a subsidiary of Enerwaste International Inc. a USA energy company specialising in alternative energy development Waste to Energy and as an Independent Power Producer in Africa. The Nigerian company was formed in July 2003 to take advantage of the opportunities in the Energy sector in Nigeria and the West African sub region especially in the Environmental Management, Energy Development and Generation and the downstream sector of the Oil industry. The company also seeks to position itself as a source of provision of alternative power generation which is needed in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
