The company was established in 1979 and has sjnce, specialized in the manufacture of boilers to become the leading boiler manufacturer in the Philippines. In the early 90's, the company developed its own Biomass Boiler design initially to fire coconut shell which was abundant in the country. Later on its biomass boiler was modified to be able to burn rice hull which was also abundant in the country. Enertech developed the entire boiler plant to include fuel handling which enabled it to offer fully automated biomass boiler plants. The company moved one step further by developing a rice hull fired power plant. The company is now promoting renewable energy to keep up with the global trend of reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
