Electronic Design Specialists (EDS), incorporated March 17, 1986, is a privately held Florida corporation with no debt that is divided into three major divisions: o OEM contract design, engineering and manufacturing services division. This division does contract design and prototype construction, with small to medium quantity manufacturing available for other companies on an OEM basis. Individual services available are R&D testing and troubleshooting, analog / digital / rf design, printed-circuit design, reverse-engineering, Microchip source coding, UL compliance, FDA Approval, FCC part 68 and 15 testing and compliance. Turnkey services allow EDS to start with nothing more than an idea from a client and provide all phases of the project, ending with a profitable, manufacturable product. o Manufacturing and worldwide distribution division. EDS specializes in niche-market high-tech items such as electronic test equipment, imbedded system controlled products, environmental protection and monitoring systems, medical electronics, telecommunications accessories, and industrial manufacturing and testing systems. Equipment is built in an ISO9001:2000 registered and certified plant that also has ISO13485:2003 registered medical device manufacture status. EDS sells its own products through distributors in the US, Canada, Europe and the Far East, as well as direct sales via mail order and the internet. o Computer and multimedia service and repair division. This division does business locally as "Electronic Specialists". Services include custom building and repair of Windows-based computer systems, home and small-business networking, home media/system control servers, website design and maintenance.
