Egemaden Mermer San. Tic. A.S. was founded in1985. The company has been extracting Milas Pearl, Milas Lilac, Milas New York and Milas Lemon from the quarry in Mugla-Kavaklidere for 20 years. Until 2000 the company has had block sales to domestic and international market. After the factory was built in 2000, the company started to cut all blocks from its own production in its own factory. After the foundation of the factory, the company planned to open other licenced quarry areas. In that direction another quarry in Denizli-Kale which produces Karia Black and Karia Grey was opened in 2003. In September 2004 ,as the newest quarry, the quarry which produces Burdur Beige was opened. The goals of the company are supplying different kinds of marbles with high quality, having high production from the quarries and opening company s other licenced quarry areas. According to the productivity of the quarries the company plans to build a new and bigger factory at the center of the quarries to provide the demands of the customers with suitable prices and high quality. Egemaden, with its active,dynamic and talented management staff, is planning to become one of the exportation leading marble companies in Turkey. The firm makes its investments on this purpose.
