In 1979 the company started to facturate hand-made shoes for women, men, and children.
Since then, we are a shoe maker specilising in Kiowa manufacture.
Newmoc is born whit a company philosophy already in place, based on incorporating the latest advances and materials, and its production therefore grows, presenting new models of men shoes, such famous as the Flexible shoe, the Nautico, and the Sport shoe.
They soon also bring out a new production line for women, higly accepted by the market, particularly the Kiowa, which becomes the star women shoe.
In 1999 the Company is taken on by a new group, dynamic, management team descended from the company founders. Their first contribution was to create the corporation which exists today, MANUFACTURAS DE CALZADO GALDE, S. L., keeping NEWMOC as a registered trademark for the line of business aimed at women and men, and creating a new brand, CHIQUIMOC, targeted at children footwear. This new line applies, successfully, all the technology and know-how acquired bu the company since it was created.
Since 2005, and after the development of three-year Strategic-Plan, GALDE acquires the worldwide rights to the brand PRIVATA, for all its differente lines.
This new stage has allowed our high-quality products to have now a more loyal, qualified market, all supported by strong investment in marketing and advertising, in all media.
