The General Trading Department has grown from a small company in 1972 to a profit-generating department within Comcent, offering a variety of imports in consumer goods, accessories and supplies at highly competitive prices. The GTD has forged alliances with leading local suppliers in Eastern Europe, India, Korea and China to deliver foodstuffs, military-ware and equipment, cranes, chemicals, spare parts, car batteries and tires. The experience gained by the GTD, the broad array of products it engages in, and the multiplicity of sectors it caters to, are an outstanding testimony to the versatility and intelligence of the department and of Comcent in general.
