CHIAPLUS Argentina are one of thelargest producers of Chia Seeds in Argentina, with over 7,500hectares of their own farms producing over 3,000 metric tonnes ofChia seeds annually, in addition to other crops such as Quinoa.CHIAPLUS farms are located in the aptly names region of LasMaravillas, near the border with Bolivia. The soils of theChaco-Salteo where the farms are sited, have a very high percentageof organic matter (4-5%) and a unique level of phosphorus onlyfound in Argentina soils. ranging from 70-90 ppm (parts permillion). Thanks to this, our crops do not require the use offertilizers.
