As location, S. C. ceravis S. A. is situated in the North of bacau city, the access being provided by e85 European road and Bucharest-suceava railway.
The birth certificate of the company is achieved together with the setting up of the orchard in 1984, having a 140 ha surface, within the fruit-growing research station of bacau.
In 1988 we had the first cherries and sour cherries production.
1995 is the year when our company got the judicial identity, becoming the trading company ceravis S. A., having a majority state capital. The new company has an upward evolution, the technical and economical performances being better and better.
In 2001 S. C. ceravis S. A. employees bought all the shares, the company being all private.
At present we plan to rejuvenate the plantation, to modernize the supply base, to introduce a new management, adequate to the market economy. The permanent activity is asserted by a young staff, having a reduced number of employees.
In 2005 a frigorific cell was installed in order to keep the fruits fresh before being transported. The cell has a capacity of 100 tons and can maintain a constant temperature of 00 celsius. In this way, fruits remain fresh from the moment of harvest until they reach the consumer.
Using a modern technology for the plantation up-keeping, we obtain constant and special productions from the qualitative point of view each year. The production capitalization is achieved 80% on the foreign market, the main partners being companies from: holland, Italy, Germany, Austria and Belgium.
