Bali Sun was started back in 2002 in Jakarta, only producing home and office furniture made out of MDF wood and out of solid wood.
Thanks to the Ministry of Forestry of Indonesian Republic (MFIR) support, we are able to source materials which are legal and according to the MFIR specifications and able to pass the export quality standard.
In January 2006, we are expanding our knowledge to Bali, producing home furniture out of teak with aluminum frame and synthetic rattan, along with our Gazebo products.
Our standard gazebos are hand made and properly crafted out of Bangkirai Wood for the floor, beams, frames, and roof rafters, while the columns are made out of coconut wood with the choice of ironwood (shingles) roof top or dried alang-alang grass (thatches) .
Alang-alang grass is always preferred for its aesthetic features, keeping the culture and tradition aspects.
With 8 permanent staff in the management office and 13 operational personnel consisting of 4 Supervisors: 3 persons for gazebo production, in which supervised 4 personnel in each team; and 1 for furniture production, oversee of 15 personnel for furniture production plus 1 Quality Control officer with 12 years experience.
