C-aid established in 2010 has developed a tool which can cut, by angle adjustment, the 5mm- thick, foam board, and hardboard used for construction of 3-D artwork structure.
Based on the problem that people get a cut on the finger with a general knife, the angle-adjusting safety cutter (Theta-Cutter) has been developed, which protects the hand and body safely with the blade detachment prevention system, while it cuts the sections by adjusting to various angles.
Theta-Cutter was selected for the G-venture capital project of Small and Medium Business Center in June, 2011, and we applied for an international patent (application number: PCT/KR/2010/005393) in August, 2011.
