For many years Madura Coats Ltd was the major supplier of Cotton Belting Duck to Texbelt Industries Pvt. Ltd, Kolkata along with various other Industrial Textiles. When Madura Coats decided to close down their operations in December 2003, they offered their Cotton Belting Duck Manufacturing facility to Texbelt Industries Pvt. Ltd.
This lead to the setting up of Bonded Textiles Pvt. Ltd. at Vadipatti - salubrious, quite town surrounded by lush greenery and small hillocks- 35 kms to the North-West of the temple city of Madurai.
Heavy Duty Picanol Looms, Straight Warpers, Pirn Winders, TFOs (all state of the art Imported Machinery) were installed in 2003 and supplies were made to Madura Coats Ltd to fulfill their running contracts before the curtains were pulled on Madura Coats.
Thus they got the stamp of approval of Madura Coats - a doyen in this segment.
