Founded at 1937, "Bo-hyang" tea garden has been managed during five generations, producing high quality organic tea without any suspensions. Although the name was changed(at first, named "Chung-hyang"), and the production method has been improved in multiple ways, the core value we are following hasn't changed from the beginning. "Che-hyun Choi", the founder of the garden, who was also my great-great grandfarther, always emphasized that making things to eat or drink for a human being must be done certainly in its best manner.Maintaining this principle our family has raised and harvested tealeaves in an organic way nearly eighty years, excluding any use of herbicide, insecticide and chemical fertilizer. That made our garden receive oversea certifications on organic production methods, like USDA-NOP, EU, JAS and HALAL at once without any correction made, and become the first confirmed domestic garden on organic fermented tea by the Korean government.Preserving the basic principles, we are now producing green tea, fermented tea, mugwort tea and fermented coin tea made by very traditional way(also known as "ddok-cha"), and these are in forms of leaf tea, powder tea and teabags.
