Airfreight Imports & Exports
Import & export forwarding of all types of airfreight cargo including hazardous cargo which is undertaken by specialists licensed to perform such functions. We do not handle any perishable cargo or live stock. Wherever possible we undertake to move cargoes in consolidations so that customers can benefit from our increased buying power but we will also book cargo on first available flights if and when required by our customers. The appointed carriers are normally those with direct air services although deferred services via hub airports and using reputable carriers will also be offered to those customers looking for savings in freight costs.
Customs Clearing Procedures
With deferments in place at the main customs entry points we are able to offer the full spectrum of import clearing including the movement of cargo into bond stores & subsequent entries releasing goods for use by importers. We have strong ties to officials within SARS (South African Revenue Services) which means we have the ability to service our clients import needs. We can also process all types of export entries via these two Customs points.
Ocean Freight Imports & Exports forwarding of both containerized and break bulk cargoes. For containerized cargoes we can accommodate both FCL and LCL consolidated consignments. We use direct services using reputable carriers at competitive rates.
Project Management covers both imports & exports and can involve multi supply points, modes of transport and scheduling of shipments so that clients can meet deadlines and complete projects both within the projected timeframe and in line with budgeted costs. It all starts with assisting clients at planning stages and then taking control of the freight, clearance & logistics involved in getting cargo from A to B.
Trade Shows & Exhibition Cargoes also covers both imports & exports and involves the temporary imports or export of goods. These are normally handled under Carnets but we have the ability to arrange for customs deposits to be paid into SARS pending the re-export of goods.
