The Company is specializing in design and development, manufacturing, sales and service of vehicle (machine) air-conditioning compressors, auto engineering spare parts and other mechanical and electrical products.Its predecessor was the Auto Parts Section of Dongfeng Machinery and Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. of Anhui Military Group. The Company's registered capital is RMB 50.25 million. Anhui Tosum Machinery and Electronic Co., Ltd. consists of the Marketing Department, the Quality Department, the Manufacturing Department, the Finance Department, the Technology Development Department, the Comprehensive Department, the Machining Workshop and the Assembly Workshop. The Company also possesses 325 sets of finishing, assembly and testing equipment, including a variety of turning centers, processing centers, automatic assembly line, helium leak detectors and performance test beds.In 2007, according to the ?civil-military integration? policy issued by the Commission of Science Technology and Industry for National Defense (COSTIND), through market investigation and based on 40-year military precision machinery manufacturing technology, Anhui Dongfeng Electrical and Mechanical Technology Co., Ltd. (the parent company of Anhui Tosum Machinery and Electronic Co., Ltd.) decided to launch out the scroll automotive air conditioning compressor project. In 2011, this project was included in the "861" Action Plan of the People's Government of Anhui Province and the Third Science and Technology Plan Project by the Science and Technology Department of Anhui Province. The Company also won the title of "Anhui High-tech Enterprise" in 2011. In addition, the Company's two products won the title of 2011 High-Tech Products.
