We import various qualities af coal mainly from Russia , China ,South Africa , Romania, Venezuala and distribute in Turkey.Thetypes of coal we import are steamcoal , coking coal , sized coaland petcoke which are distributed to almost all areas in Turkeythru our over 900 distributers , as well as by direct sales to theindustrial users.The processing operations of coal are conducted in our processingplants based in mainly 3 different geographical locations in Turkeyto accomodate our sales and distribution operations.The processingplants are equipped for sieving and packing operations and have thefollowing production capacities:Gebze Plant (Northwest of Turkey) :100 000 mtons storage , 200 000mtons per annum processingBursa Plant : (Midwest Turkey) : 80 000 mtons storage , 140 000mtons per annum processingSamsun Plants : (Northern Turkey) : Two different plants with atotal of 100 000 mtons storage , 180 000 mtons per annumprocessing Iskenderun Plant (Southern Turkey) : In process for similar storageand processing capacities Alyak’s position - as an importer and distrubtor of coal in Turkey- is that we are one of the leading Turkish companies in the marketdue to the volumes imported and distributed annualy.Our clienteleis widespread , from household end users to the industrial userssuch as cement and steel producers.Considering the rapid growth ofdemand of the energy sector in very near future,we are also takingposition as a potential supplier for the power plants .
