Its evergreen leaves, silky and soft when very young, become tough and glabrous with age.2.5 to 5cm in diameter, the flowers in white and red have 7 to 8 petals and many stamens. The fruit is a capsule, which contains a big oleaginous seed. In ancient, Chinese women have always used camellia oil for skin care and essentially for hair and scalp care, while modern Chinese mostly use them in cooking.
