I would like to introduce ourselves, WorldStar PackagingIndustry as one of the largest producers ofdisposable paper cup manufacturers in India. The company,proprietorship firm was incorporated in 1998 . In those times notmany people would have even seen a disposable paper cup but therecertainly was a need to replace plastic cups for various reasons,primarily plastic being a non bio-degradable product. There was avision to find a replacement to these plastic cups by somethingthat was more hygienic more presentable and something that would bea product for the future taking care of the environment aswell.In 1999 we started with the setup of the plant with 2 paper cupforming machines. From day one the paper has come from ITC ltd.There was a lot of hard work and dedication and help from ITC tohelp develop the perfect grade of paper which would suit everyparameter of cup forming.With a great helping hand and push from IRCTC which were the firstof our clients the journey started from 2 paper cup machines todate when we have more that 100 machines of the same .There hasbeen a consistent growth year on year in terms of production ,quality and the way we service our customers .We have a in house printing and punching setup, machines for whichhave been developed by the expertise of our own and fabricated inhouse. We have 2rotogravure printing machines (one two color, onefour color) . As on date they have a capacity to print over 6-7mtof paper each day (8 hours) . We have 12 fully automatic punchingmachines which have a capacity to punch 2mt ofpaper each in 12 hours of time. We are currently consuming about250mt of paper which come from ITC ltd and with the new plantcommencing soon this figure will cross 300mt before the year end.With this quantity of paper we are converting over92million cups per month.From the very beginning we have maintained a standard in ourquality of cups and hygiene being the top most priority. Everyaspect of production to delivery, to customer support follows avery systematic procedure. We have from this year gotISO22000 :2005license , and are one amongst the very few who havethe same in this area of business . There is a dedicated In houselab where we perform regular checks for parameter pertaining to thepaper cups that are being produced. We have food grade certificatesfor all the raw materials that are being used and keep checks onall the incoming material.Our client list includes IRCTC , Nestle India ,SMVDSB, HindustanUnilever , Haldiram , Bikanerwala and numerous corporate houseswhich we cater to directly and indirectly both .The product range includes all sizes starting from 80ml-650ml for hot and cold beverages both. We have veryrecently started making double wall paper cups and containers insize of 250ml and 500ml. All sizes are available in grammage as perrequirement and application suited for the customer.Our vision is to keep growing not only in terms of numbers but alsoin terms of quality.
