With our secondline we doubled our capacity (50.000tons/year) in 2010.Our production, low carbonsteelshot, has awide range application area which is generally used for surfacetreatment; descaling, etching, deburring etc.and also hassome advantages when compared to high carbon steel shots.Especially in big foundries, compared to high carbon steel shot, wereach very good results because of less consumption, which isreduced by min. %25 due to longer life time, and less wearing partson the blasting machines. Furthermore, it has significant andsufficient hardness (40-45 HRC). Because of its bainiticmicrostructure, it is free from cracks. So, our production, lowcarbon steel shot, does not wear by breakage like high carbon steelshot. It wears by becoming smaller and smaller but always in aspherical form.
