Founded on December 20, 1991, Tecnotxtil became the largestmanufacturer of synthetic straps for cargo handling in LatinAmerica. But our story begins even before our founding: to Levtec,a company that since 1989, was a pioneer in the Brazilian textilestraps for cargo handling.Tecnotxtil started its business from a development of a plotspecially aimed at a distinct quality tape. The company had a fewlooms at about 480m ², but already born the manufacturer ofsynthetic ribbons highest strength, even depending on the IPT(Institute of Technological Research) for validation of theirproducts, a few miles away.We started as a weaving that made synthetic yarn of high tenacityon the tapes, which were offered for Levtec so there then producethe final product (the belt).
