Shiraoi Oil Company was established at 2010 to produce biodiesel fuel (BDF) from used cooking oil. The present capital of Shiraoi Oil Company is US$ 500, 000. Amount of the present BDF production is 1, 600 MT/year. Now, Shiraoi Oil Company is increasing the BDF producing capacity to 2, 500 MT/year by September, 2011 and to 4, 000 MT/year by May, 2012. BDF produced in Shiraoi Oil Company has been supplied for fuels of fishing boats, agricultural machines, trucks and warming greenhouses for growing vegetables in winter and cool seasons.
