The Lexington Manufacturing Center (LMC), a Division of OWL (Opportunity for Work and Learning), a non-profit corporation whose mission is to assist people with barriers to employment find a job in the community (Community Rehabilitation Program), provides a variety of products and services to companies like Square D/Schneider Electric, The Trane Company (a Division of Ingersol-Rand), Lexmark International, Webasto Roof Systems, Ainak, Kaba Mas, Lexair, U.S. Army, U.S. Defense Logistics Agency, Thybar, Cardinal Brands, Parker Hannifin Corporation and others. LMC's Quality Management System is registered to ISO 9001:2008 since October 23, 2003. LMC teaches and trains employees in Lean Manufacturing/Thinking in line with the Toyota Production System. LMC operates in three plants with a total of 74, 500 square feet on 4 acres of land with three additional buldings currently being leased to other companies with available land to build on. LMC's versatility allows us to respond to customers very quickly in our plant as well as in other companies plants.
