Kottayam is the main natural rubber producing region in India and this place is surrounded by a number of rubber estates. Almost 85% of Indian natural rubber is produced in Kottayam. We supply natural rubber to most of the prominent manufacturing companies in India.Till the year 2000 India could not export natural rubber because its consumption was almost equal to our production. However once we joined the WTO we also started supplying to various countries around our globe.
