Our Detergent Factory being built and commissioned in Burao, Somaliland:
The commercial development project of the Powder detergent is currently in production.
The rate of production is 5 tons per hour or 120 tons per day with two shifts the projected production per annum with full capacity will be between 36000 to 40000 tons.
Specifications and quality of Detergent is in accordance with the British standard of GB / T1317 / 2004.
Ileys Detergent Industry Corporation is the first of this size and production magnitude in Somaliland.
Since its commission, the production has entered the markets of Somaliland (northern Somalia) , Djibouti, Somalia and Ethiopia.
The quality of the Detergent has been accepted by the public of all those markets and much admired to be superior to those other kinds imported from our neighbouring countries.
Brand names patented and manufactured are three:
1) SAFI, 2) LILY, 3) IFTIN.
Packing: Currently the factory is producing: 100g, 200g, & 500g. However, its design is to produce and pack up to 25 KG bags.
Factory occupies 20, 000M2 of owned land of 100, 000M2. On the land is also a productive farm that produces various kinds of vegetables and fruits
There is Rig drilled well of 180 metre depth with submersible pump, feeding both the factory and the farm. There is a plan to drill water well as support standby
The facilities comprise; the factory, a warehouse of 4500M2, a powerhouse with 3 power generating units, fully synchronized and designed to provide the necessary power to the factory as and when needed basis.
There are two auxiliary power units, used when factory is not operational.
Office complex with 6 offices and conference room, secretariat office, a mosque and cafeteria for employees catering.
The site is located 6 kilo meters south east of Burao city, along side the main Road which makes easy access for Transport.
