Established in 1967, Hameed Brothers Colombo (Private) Limited is one of the largest family owned exporters of Natural Rubber, Coconut products and Spices from Sri Lanka (formerly called Ceylon). The company currently export its products to over twenty five countries.
Hameed Brothers began exporting Natural Rubber in 1975 and since then the company has added Spices and Coconut products including dried coconut (Copra) into its portfolio of exports and have grown to become one of the largest exporters in Sri Lanka. The company exports are used worldwide as raw material in the manufacture of tires, gloves and other rubber based products, food stuffs and confectioneries by some of the leading manufacturers in the world.
The company export commodities are sourced from local plantations in the island and go through rigorous quality and compliance control checks before they are approved for export, ensuring customers of only the highest quality products. The company prides itself on the quality and reliability of its exports and have consistently gained a near zero percent rejection and return rate from its customers.
