They are capable of withstanding temperatures in excess of 338 F (170 C), with no damage, and are virtually unbreakable. They are dishwasher safe and can even be sterilized in an autoclave.Reusable. Does not continually use up natural resources. To make the disposable chopsticks, used in China and Japan, requires more than 35 million full grown trees each year.Can be safely cleaned / sterilized.
