Our Cyxi technology has obvious economic and green credentials in reducing reagent shipping costs and the carbon footprint associated with cold-supply logistics (often tiny volumes of reagent require shipping in large polysterene containers packed with several kg of ice/ dry-ice). More importantly, their technology also has direct application in making molecular testing capability accessible to countries of greatest need, where a combination of climate and unreliable logistics are prohibitive to the deployment of such tests.
Fluorogenics are a self-financing, ethically motivated and quality driven small company who aim to achieve ISO13485 accreditation in 2013 for CE-marking of our products for entry into the global regulated human diagnostics market; an industry expected to exceed $63Bn by 2014 and sustaining growth at 6-8% per annum.
