The company has major investments in commodity marketing which includes purchasing, storage, transportation and marketing of food and cash crops.The Company was launched in Kenya in 1967 in response to servicing the needs of Relief Organizations in the Region. By the mid-70’s, the ETC expanded into a full-fledged commodity trading house.The range of commodities traded by ETC include Maize, Beans, Cowpeas, Pigeon Peas, Black Gram, Green Gram, Yellow Gram, Sorghum, Bullrush Millet, Cottonseeds, Sunflower Seeds, Sesame Seeds, Beetlenuts, Cocoa Beans, Cashewnuts, Groundnuts, Cardamom, Cloves, Corriander Seeds, Gum Arabica, Black Pepper, etc.
