Varekai Olga sculpture For the creation of this unique new sculpture atist Olga Pikhienko participated in a process known as 3D digital scanning. Olga was scanned in various poses using state-of-the-art digital technology?the same technology used to create visual effects in today's biggest blockbuster movies. Once digitally recorded, her image was then converted into a three-dimensional model using cutting-edge rapid prototyping technology. The resulting sculpture gave the artists at Starlite Originals a foundation to work from that was uncompromisingly authentic and faithful to the character. The 3D digital scanning process ensures that every muscle, proportion and detail is accurate.the final sculpture is an amazing marriage of high-tech wizardry and human artistry.
