Donega&lara is a 100% brazilian company, with over 35 years of tradition on peanut processing. Its name is widely known as a synonym of good quality peanut. This successful position is a result of a lot of work, technology and, most of all, a great respect for the costumer. Located at dumont,360 km away from the city of sao paulo, donega&lara has its own plantation area and its own unit of peanuts processing.90% of peanuts processed are from our plantation area, in its majority of the runner variety.
The processing unit is equipped with high technology machines and has approximately 70 professionals as collaborators. Currently 600 tons of peanuts are processed by month. This unit can process 1.100 ton/month of peanuts. The control begins since the selection of the seeds, using adequate techniques of drying and storage of the grains after the harvest up to the delivery to the customers. Experts from donega&lara follow the plantation and the harvest of the peanuts that will be sent to the unit of processing. After the drying, passing through powerful dryers, the peanuts are shelled and classified by size, weight and color. There is also a laboratory of analysis of aflatoxin inside the unit of processing.
Since last october, searching to diversify its activities, our company initiated the extraction of peanut oil. We are extracting high quality crude and filtered peanut oil, using pre-selected peanuts that come from our unit processing. All extracted oil has been sold at domestic market. This successful enterprise motivated us to increase extraction level and search new markets abroad. Our goal is develop the international market always guided by our ethic and high quality value, looking for partnerships over long term period. Currently we have available to export 300ton/by month. All extracted oil is inspected and certificated by sgs. Analyses especially required can be issued by a laboratory authorized by the brazilian health department
