Dateline Produce Export was started at the plea of kava and taro farmers who felt that they were being reaped off by middlemen who cheated them of fair prices. As a reason and with their encouragement Dateline Produce exports was launched to help farmers sell their produces at a competitive price in the available markets.It is the effort of the company to keep the farmer's interest at the heart fo this venture. The company is taking a developmental approach whereby it is not only concerned about making profits, it is also using this business opportunity to alleviate poverty for smallholder farmers so that they can imporve their lifes and livelihoods.
