The history of "ChTZ-Uraltrac", The Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant, began in 1933 when the first crawler tractor was produced.
At the present "ChTZ-Uraltrac" is the most major industrial plant in the Russian Federation and the leader at the market of Russia and the CIS countries, manufacturing bulldozers, track and wheel loaders, pipelayers, compactors, road-rollers and attached implements.

The Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant has the own engineering office for the design engineering and manufacture management of diesel engines. The production of the plant is mounted with these diesel engines. The diesel engines of "ChTZ-Uraltrac" are mounted on the tanks T90 passed into service of Russia and many other countries. "chtz-Uraltrac" is the certificated supplier of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.
