Our main business is credit inquiry and approval, in which the credit status of a card is checked and payment is approved through KSNET's card inquiry device. Other operations include: inquiry and approval for debit cards, customer reward cards, and electronic *.In addition to transaction processing services, payment services such as corporate service (for relaying financial transactions of business entities) and school service (for relaying payment of tuition fees) were first introduced in Korea by KSNET.Recently, KSNET expanded its business to e-POS (Web service for general management of sales-related information), purchasing card, e-Money and mobile payment service. KSNET's clear-cut vision and its strong drive for business growth have been paying off. The fact that, in June 2000, KSNET induced investment worth $40 million (a record investment amount for a non-listed firm in Korea) from an international consortium consisting of H&Q AP, Lombard APIC and GE Equity, truly speaks for itself. Boosted by this investment, KSNET enjoyed a phenomenal growth rate of 112% in 2001, recording the highest profit rate in the industry, and an increase of 125% compared to net profit goal (target) for the first half of 2002.KSNET continues to develop a variety of value-added services, such as, transaction processing services, payment services and new internet-related businesses.
