We guarantee our oil to be premium grade tea tree oil. Premium grade is defined as tea tree oil:
i of the tea tree species Melaleuca alternifolia grown in its natural habitat (the only place in the world where Melaleuca alternifolia grows naturally is the Mid & North Coast of NSW, Australia)
ii where tea trees are grown under sustainable farming conditions,
iii that meets - International Standard ISO 4730

- French Standard T75-358
- British Pharmacopoeia Codex, 1949 (pp. 597-598)
- Martindale Extra Pharmacopoeia 28th Edition (p.268)
- European Pharmacopoeia 4.1, and
that contains; terpinen-4-ol% equal or greater than 40%; p-cymene % equal to or less than 3%, 1,8-cineole % equal or less than 3%.
iv from 14 million trees grown, distilled, stored, packaged and dispatched under no less a standard as required to meet the Australian Tea Tree Industry Code of Practice.
