Unlike other soaps which are made from oils and chemicals, black soap is made from oils and agro-wastes ashes (EMPTY FRUIT BUNCH ASH) . This ash contains various amounts of potassium and sodium compounds. The liquid extract from this ash forms the alkali base of the black soap production.
