AskStory is a Software Company that develops data mining engine based on collected big data. AskStorys core product is a data mining engine, Collective Intelligent (CI) Engine, which gathers related data from smart devices or internet webs, then intelligently organize the collected data to predict future behavior. By predicting future behavior, smart devices can be automatically controlled and provide useful organized data to users. Therefore this engine is not only restricted in one area, but also available in various areas that have smart device in the process. At the moment, AskStory adapted the CI Engine to two different areas, headhunting website and smart thermostat. From these two areas, AskStory proved that this Engine works in various areas including devices and website. Headhunting website (www.AskStory.com) analyses users resume to recommend companies and jobs that fit to users, or analyze company descriptions to recommend right people to HR managers. AskStory Energy, the smart thermostat, analyzes the users pattern and local information to provide right indoor environments and allow to save electricity bill by 20~25%. This product can expand to home automation service and healthcare service. Smart thermostat is not only product of AskStory, it is one of many AskStorys products. Our final goal is to apply CI engine technology to all areas to step up the user life style by auto control and organized data.
