1India Sourcing is an endeavor of a team of young and enthusiastic textile / apparel technologists, who after graduating from India s premier fashion school and working in the industry for seven long years, realized the need to do something more than mere business. So we decided to employ our skills and experience in helping the cause of Indian farmers, artisans and entrepreneurs who are involved in growing and manufacturing sustainable products and employ fair trade practices.
We work closely with many NGOs, farmer groups, small factories making fabrics, garments, bed linen, towels, and accessories in organic cotton. All the setups that we work with are certified by Control Union f. K. A. Skal Netherlands, Ecocert or FLO. All our associates employ fair trade practices and collectively we also try to contribute to the socially, financially and physically underprivileged. We ensure that all our manufacturing facilities provide safe work environment for all men and women employees. No child labor is involved at any stage in the manufacturing of goods that we deal in.
