Mercury UV curing lamps, made from high-quality pure quartz of GE and ORS, can penetrate a great quantity of UV in high degree. Its lighting length ranges from 30 mm to 2,260 mm, common power from 125w to 36kw, and power density from 20w/cm to 500w/cm. All high and medium-voltage mercury lamps are jointly referred to as UV curing lamps (UV lamps for short), which generally contain mercury and argon, with peak at 365 nm. The lifetime of UV lamps refers to their operating time while maintaining enough energy. During this period, energy will gradually decay till below the acceptable range. In general, the standard mercury UV lamp can radiate enough UV energy up to 1,000 hours.
