VMS2003 software is designed to enable user the easiest and the most common way to have a full insight in all processes under the monitored facility or facilities.
The whole system is designed of VMS2003 acquisition card(s), VMS2003 software and PC with monitor (PC not included). One acquisition card can accept up to 4 cameras, 2 cards can accept up to 8 cameras, 3 cards can accept up to 12 cameras and 4 cards can accept up to 16 cameras. The software is made to adjust to any number of cameras, to show some or all of them, show interested areas in big windows with software zoom, to localize the motions and start recording stream from all or only specified cameras.
High-end software can enable MPG4 compression and saving the stream from all cameras to local hard disk. On 20GB hard disk you can save up to 3-4 weeks of live streams from 8 cameras. This possibility for recording is over any other known method to save the stream because you will need many videocassettes to compare with this and searching critical situation on other media is very hard. With VMS2003 software motion detector writes all suspicion moments and later you can playback them without wasting the time on search.
