In half an hour got it all inside their big moving van
Sped over to our next destination
Wifey met them, and they deftly executed her plan
Two hours here and then to our brand new location

During the four-hour move
They helped us pack-unpack-pack-unpack-pack-unpack
You oughta know by now
They were careful, strong, professional, great.
And gave us a $40 discount for paying by cash money
Left no scratches on our new walls with fresh paint
No dents and scratches on our stuff, no doubt
I would gladly use this company again next time

With our last moving experience being such a nightmare (thanks, "Very Hungry People In School"), I was apprehensive about this move. Not a huge one, just from Mid-City back to DTLA.

One word: Attitude.

Moving sucks. Just does. But if the movers show up and smile the whole way through, laugh at my jokes, and take care of our stuff, that's worth a great deal to me.

JT was a great leader, and he and his two guys were just a fantastic team. We moved from a two-bedroom to a loft, and so had a ton o' stuff. JT must be a Tetris expert, because he managed to get 90% of it in the truck, and it's not a huge truck. And even though we had to make a second trip, they all did it uncomplainingly.

JT gave us an amazing rate, about half of what those other yokels charged us, and I came away from the experience sort of stunned.

JT kept assuring me, "You'll be satisfied."

YUP.

I contacted JT after reading reviews like these on Yelp. I've used Rock N' Roll movers before and although they did a fine job I was looking for someone who watches the clock as closely as I do. Ultimately choosing JT was the right decision.

I secured a date less than 48 hours ahead of time. The drivers were not only on time, they were 10 minutes early. I needed to move some stuff from my storage unit into my new apt. We did an inspection of how much stuff I had and the guys brought their truck closer to the elevator. We signed some quick paperwork and even though almost 30 minutes had past, they didn't start the clock until the first box was moved.

The bottom line is these guys were quick, careful and efficient. There was a three hour minimum and even though it only took two hours from the point where to shook hands hello until they were off, it was well worth it. My storage facility was at the Farmers Market and the destination was in Santa Monica. They came prepared with blankets, boxes, dollies, etc.. These guys never took a smoke break or pulled out their cell phones to check messages. They did the job professionally and gave me the sense that I got a good deal for the money spent.

They do like reviews on Yelp. Archie sent me a few texts afterwards asking if I would post something. Granted he never used any language trying to sway me towards writing a positive review nor did they offer me some kind of discount in exchange for a review. In my book, that's just good follow up and good business.

These guys are great! Far more affordable than their competitors, and they get the job done. I'd use them again in the future. They had us moved in 4 hours flat, and we had a *lot* of boxes and furniture.

They even hauled our mattress up 7 flights of steps when we discovered that it wouldn't fit in the elevator. JT is my hero!

Used for: Office Move

Moving is a hard process for anyone, but you haven't seen anything until you've done an office move. Having to change your address, coordinate incoming shipments, and getting everyone in the office to pack their things is hectic enough, but finding a good moving company that you can trust turned out to be the hardest part.

After receiving several quotes and having to cancel with other companies (I still have no idea why they're ranked #1 on Yelp), I called JT Relocation. From the very beginning, they were easy as pie and great to coordinate with.

When the movers got here (right at the time I asked them to), I was blown away by how professional and efficient they were. We were lucky to get 3 of the best movers in Los Angeles: Iaroslav, Ali, and Jonny. These guys were LIGHTNING FAST. You HAVE to request these guys if you're doing any move. They were careful with all of our furniture, great at communicating, and exceeded all of my expectations. I was trusted with hiring the movers and they made me look great in front of my higher-ups. They were so impressed with this team, that they were practically begging them to come back for day 2 of our move (unfortunately, they had a large job the next day).

BOTTOM LINE: Do yourself a favor and go with this moving company. And ask for Iaroslav, Ali, and Jonny. They have secret superhero moving skills and if they could floor me on an office move, they will knock you on your ass for any other move you can throw their way.

JT and Tor arrived punctually, took the contents of our one bedroom apartment down a flight of stairs and into a truck, then unloaded everything up two flights of stair into our new apartment. It was a lot of work and they were upbeat, helpful and professional throughout. We had lots and lots of boxes, but they managed to fit everything in and we didn't lose a thing. We were really pleased with their hard work and positive attitude.

I would definitely recommend JT Moving Service if you are looking to move a studio or one bedroom and want friendly service and an extremely reasonable price.

When my (pregnant) wife and I had to move in October, we did what many others do - we went to Craigslist to look for movers. We had taken care of our previous move with the help of family and friends, but this time we wanted someone else to take care of it. We found JT, contacted him, and he responded very quickly. He was on it! We checked out Yelp, saw some positive reviews and decided to hire him to move us.

JT (and Tor) were running a little late (through no fault of their own) but called to let me know. I don't know many movers who would actually call to notify. We were fine with it, and were very pleased that he bothered to let us know. When they showed up, I was immediately at ease. They're just friendly, cool guys who are there to work. They have a great work ethic and awesome attitudes. They want to do amazing work and get everything to the destination in the same condition that it left.

I would highly recommend them. We had quite a bit of stuff to move (1 bedroom, 1 home office and a baby's room, plus 2 bathrooms) and there were some stairs on both ends. They're very hard workers and get it done quickly. If you want affordable and reliable movers, who happen to be entertaining and interesting guys, then JT Moving Service is your best bet.

We hope not to move again for a LONG time, but if that day comes and JT's around, we'll surely give him a call.

Great crew. We had a custom couch that had to be lowered down the side of the new house to get in. They made it happen without a scratch.

We also had a tough table that we didn't think would get around corner and they got their physics on and solved that problem too.

We priced a bunch of companies and this one was the best price for one truck and 3 men.

The movers were very friendly and very good at what they do. Tor really had a great sense of space and knew how to pack everything in the truck and the storage unit that was efficient and safe for all items.

I had two stops and the two completed the job in just over 3 hours. Their pricing is very competitive and well worth every penny.

I would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again. My only negative comment is that they do not take credit cards, but I hear they are working towards that.
