The mask is designed to save lives in the event of a fire, terrorist attack or disaster. The mask allows a person in the vicinity of such an event to gain up to 15 minutes - precious time - to escape a life-threatening situation or save others. The different versions of the mask protect against smoke, toxic gases, chemicals or biological/chemical weapons.
