PROPHEX BIOPRODUCTS LTD. is a Bulgarian private company, established in 2000, acting in the field of production and sale of bioethanol and natural consumption ethanol from feedstock wheat and maize. The company owns a Bioethanol plant positioned on 25 km far from the capital Sofia on the territory of Municipality Gorna Malina.

Based on the latest technologies, know-how and key equipment supplied by a world leader in the field of engineering in ethanol industry, namely Praj Industries Ltd, we produce ethanol based solvent, ethanol and biofuels that meet the highest standards and are subject to professional quality management. Nominal capacity currently amounts to around 10, 000 000 l of ethanol and 10, 000 000 l of bioethanol per year.
We are committed to the principle of sustainability in the production of biofuels. We therefore act with responsibility and consideration towards our environments natural resources.
Our company main goal is to supply quality alcohol to customers and in the meantime to satisfy the demand of ethyl alcohol of the national and international food, alcoholic beverages, pharmaceutic and chemical industries.
