Schnadig Corporation is one of the largest family-owned furniture manufacturers in the United States. The Corporation was incorporated in 1952 by Lawrence K. Schnadig. Its building blocks were shaped from the backgrounds of S. Karpen & Brothers, established in 1880, and International Furniture Company, which was founded at the turn of the twentieth century. Schnadig�s 500 employees are located in two manufacturing plants in California and in Mississippi ,a distribution center in Mississippi and at Corporate Headquarters in Des Plaines, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago.
