Ocean Blue Pearls is a pearl farming company in Bali Indonesia. We produce South Sea Pearls exclusively on our two farm sites in East and West Bali.
Established in 2003, we have developed the facilities to spawn our own oysters, enahnce the bloodlines, grow them out, seed (operate) them and nurture them up to harvest. Under the management of our experienced Australian marine biologist we are able to produce world class examples of the prized South Sea Pearl.
It is out intention to sell our pearls direct to end users, rather than wholesale to the usual auction houses.
We believe this creates an opportunity for those wanting pearls for jewellery manufacture or to onsell, to cut out one layer of middleman by buying direct from the farm.
Our first harvest was completed in late 2007.
